The home and search buttons have stopped working on my Motorola Bionic Pressing the home button makes the screen flicker black and show the app I was using. The search button does absolutely nothing.

I've tried restoring to factory settings and it's still doing it. Anyone have any ideas?

"Showrooming" has been a problem for smaller stores for quite some time, looks like it finally got Target irritated enough to do something about it. I wonder if Amazon's holiday promotion rewarding shoppers for scanning in prices might have finally pushed them over the edge.

Something has to give eventually. Manufacturers may have to subsidize brick-and-mortar with lower wholesale prices. They already pay for choice product placement.

Or perhaps a new business model where independent showrooms get a rev share back from the online retailer.

I just upgraded my MacPro to Lion last night and got the customary “you have incompatible software” notice, but it does not tell what software is affected.  Here’s a quick way to find out:

1. Click on the Apple Symbol in the menubar.
2. Select About This Mac.
3. Click on More Info…
4. Click on System Report.
5. Expand the Software section of the tree hierarchy on the left and click on Applications.
6. Sort by Kind and look for PowerPC.

All PowerPC applications are incompatible as Rosetta is no longer available.  Applications that are listed as Universal or Intel will be functional.
