I uninstalled the facebook app for Android from my Nexus One via the Market. It no longer shows up in my list of downloaded apps in the Market, nor does it show up in the Applications listing (settings > applications > manage applications) yet it’s still in the app drawer and can still be launched from it.
What gives???
Update: added screenshots.
Update2: Seems it may be integrated w/the phone, though I don’t recall it being there when I got my N1. Anyway, we should have the option to get rid of apps like FB, which are non-essential wastes of time.
