I’ve got about six email accounts hooked up on my iPhone. One of them is an exchange account for email from the office. Access to the exchange server requires that I have a VPN connection established and I have no problems with that. The flackyness I’m talking about is in reference to the status of emails that appear in my inbox.
If I read/delete an email on my computer they usually arrive as unread messages on my phone. Moving email from the inbox to a specific folder also does not really move the message in exchange, but only locally on my phone.
Now, these aren’t major issues..I don’t sync my work address book with the phone and while composing an email to a collegue their names appear as I type them from the GAL, but it does get irritating considering the large volume of email that I receive.
I look forward to future updtes that solidify the exchange connection on the iPhone and Apple Mail.
