Yesterday when I left the office for home the dashboard in my car lit up with a “low tire” message. I didn’t think there was a problem because the tire seemed to be ok. Today, when i went out ot the car I saw one of the rear tires was completely flat. I put on the spare and went to get my tire repaired but the guy said it wouldn’t be worth repairing because the nail was right at the edge of the tire such that the patch would just pop out in like 2 months.
I then went to buy a new tire and 2 hours later (had a long line of people ahead of me
) and $300 later I had my new tire.
What a day…

That’s funny… I had the exact same thing happen about a year ago. My tire never got completely flat, though… I just had the “low pressure” message every single day until I filled it up. I ended up having to buy 2 new tires because they were getting kinda low on tread anyway. They said the hole was too close to the outer wall for me, too.

I tried filling it up with air when I went to the gas station and by the time I got to the tire repair place it was already flat.
