FCC Grounds Cell Phone Use During Flights

The FCC has officially grounded the plans to allow passengers to use their cell phones during a flight.

They will still restrict the usage of cell phones during a flight because they supposedly interfere with an aircraft’s comm & navi systems, and ground cellular networks, even though the FCC also says there is “insufficient technical information” available on whether or not calls made during a flight would jam these services.
