Simple English advocates are at it again trying to get people to switch from the “confusing” english to the simpler version because “children would learn faster and illiteracy rates would drop if words such as bomb,” “comb” and “tomb” were spelled the way they sound”.

I think this is stupid. Should the English language be changed that much because some people find it easier to write “thru” instead of “through” ?
