I’m currently in a macroeconomics class for my MBA (yes I know I should be paying attention to the lecture but I felt like commenting on this). My professor just started talking about recessions and that got me thinking about the events happening today:

consumer debt is very high and savings is very low
terrorism
unemployment rates [...]

I thought these #’s were interesting:
USA = 5%
California = 5.2%
Orange County = 3.8%
